Just tell Sammy if he don't want to practice just come on over to Pound and the guys will save him a seat on the warm bench that some call home through the week. Game time Friday...Well don't worry bout it, haven't you heard? We have that Friday night miracle healer over here. And trust me you will get your playimg time. We'll fix ya right up. We just don't have the numbers to bench starters on Friday nights.

It is not a matter of numbers. It is setting an example for the younger kids to follow, if you don't practice you don't play, no matter who you are. You do have to set stipulations in this as well. i.e. if you miss on Monday you set out the first quarter, if you miss Monday and Tuesday the first half, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, the whole game possibly getting some time in the fourth quarter. You can't miss 3 out of 4 days and expect to be ready to go on Friday, especially with Thursday practice limited to walk-throughs. Set some team standards and stick by them or don't set any at all.

Well I myself know it's not about numbers. But I did hear one of the coaches himself make that statement.

There are some on this team that really practice hard and play hard. Have you seen Pound even play a game this year? If not then where comes all your info?

Also Pound isn't the only school that has mentioned their coaches this year and last year. My goodness look at all the criticism that Phil Robbins and BI has took, even some talk also about Rick Mullins at Clintwood this year. But when a post is made by a dawg fan about Pound coaches and a pound parent/fan replies then you act like we are trying to get rid of our coach. A fan from any other school can do or say something and it is ok, but if a pound fan says anything then it is the world's worse person or fan.

You may not be, but others are. When your at a game, listen and see how many times "Come on Jason" or "Im a go down there and talk to so and so" thats where those sentiments come from, but to the point, its just like BI people wanted his head until his young players got better, they werent very good last year. they have gotten better, BI is still there.

And yes, I have seen them play. I have seen every LPD team play.

I agree with you, no one should act like that in the stands. But you can hear that probably every where you go at football games.
